Hello. My 10 month old spayed female is eating very little (about a tablespoon wet food every evening, although wet or dry food is always available) and she hasnt done a poo for about 4 days. She has always been small build but I am worried that she will lose weight and/or that she has a blockage. She currently weighs 2.9kgs (we think). Her poo is always black and hard although water is available with wet or dry food. I have tried wetting her anus with warm water to stimulate her to lick the area as she did have constipation problems at 8 wks old. My nearest vet was quite rough with her about two weeks ago when she did her flea jab (Program inj 40) and microchip and worming tablet. Could this have upset her system?
