I don't know if I should post under strange behavior, or eating problems. My 7 month old male kitten has been doing the following for several months. He will scoop out one or two pieces of dry food from the bowl, and hit/bat it around the floor for several minutes before he eats it. He will sometimes not eat it for an hour or two, just go back and bat it around, "corner" it in his paws and then eventually eat it. He does not seem to eat much of the dry food, only wet. Is this unusual?
