I am sorry to tell you this, but your poor kitty is very seriously ill. Fluid on the lungs is never a good sign and whatever is going on with her ribs probably has a lot to do with it.
You should see if the vet will talk seriously with you about her chances of survival if there is any treament he can suggest.
There is no magic way of making a cat who sounds so seriously ill to regain her appetite. Try your best to tempt her with baby food meat (no onions in the ingrediants!) and stinky tuna. Perhaps she will go for those.
Best wishes.
>>hi >>my cat got a lump on the right side of her rib cage about a month or two ago,but just recently my cat stoped eating about a week or two ago,so we took her to the vet.the vet said one of my cats ribs was badly broken,he said it was most likely cancer because the bone was getting eaten away by something and it was rounded on the edges. but the vet was wrong it's not cancer. he also did say that my cat had liquid in her lungs.the vet suggested giving her vitamins to keep her going but she is losing weight quick. she has been drinking water but she just won't eat. >>please help -----
