I resentfully bought some "adult" cat food yesterday because it came in pate form to see if his interest in food was there and it was just a physical ailment preventing him from eating.
I gave him half mixed with a little bit of water and he scoffed it down really quick, I was so happy to see him enjoy eating!
I could hear him lapping at it and sometimes even a sucking noise so I am off to find some senior pate food to bulk him up a little before a trip to the vets to get his teeth checked out. Also he'll have his boosters and his geriatric bloods done to check everything's ticking over.

Thank you for you concern, advice and support
