During the summer, I was feeding a stray cat. She would come into the house to eat, and then go back outside. I already have a female and a male cat, and they would hiss at the stray cat, and she at them, but there was never any physical contact. I took the stray cat in when she had her kittens in our backyard the day they were born. The mother and the kittens remained in our house (secluded) until the kittens were adopted out (at 7-1/2 - 8-1/2 weeks). Twice during the time while the kittens were in the home, the mother got out and attacked (ready to kill) my other two cats. Now that her kittens are gone, and she was spayed two days ago, I was assured by quite a few people that the stray would be calm and not attack. Well that is not true, she tried to attack one of my cats just this morning. Now my other two cats are afraid of the stray. How do I get them to be okay with one another, as I really do want to keep her?????
