Sometimes cats can have an irritation of unknown causes. Since this is a cat who sat in something like gasoline or oil, it would be wise to have a veterinary exam if there is still blood in the stool. Usually irritible bowel syndrome is to blame, although it could just be a case of temporary indigestion or something more sinister such as cancer or some unknown injury.
Also check for unusual bowel movements including diarreah and very hard stools. If the cat is producing those without blood, then a vet exam is in order too.
Finally watch the cat for signs of being tired, inactive or not eating or drinking. This is a sign that something is seriously wrong. Again, even if no blood is present, the cat needs to go to the vet if this happens. -----
