My diabetic cat, spooky is obstipated. The procedure is beyond my financial abilities at 400 - 800 US $

The vet has given me a prescription for "propulsid" (not sure of the spelling meds are home, i'm at work) to help colonic mobility.

Also laxatone for lubrication.

Spooky became ill and began vomiting anything he took in... Water or food.

He was given two enimas with negligible results, but can once again hold food and water. We hope the meds will help, but are looking for any advice to assist.

The vet says that if we can't get him to poop, the alternative is deobstipation (which as I said I cannot afford) or putting him to sleep (which I cannot face).

Thanks to all in advance...
Bill
