I am very sorry about Jasmine. You did the right thing for her, and I'm glad you found such a wonderful vet who really looked at her and gave an honest opinion! You should definitely show your appreciation by patronizing this vet.

Your other kitties probably miss Jasmine as much as you do and it is good for them (and you) to take time to groom and spend time with them. You will all benefit from this!

Again, my deepest sympathies about your loss.

>>Hello:
>>I found a compassionate vet. He checked Jasmine out and confirmed by fears that she had no problem that could be easily fixed. In fact she was in the process of dying. He checked to make sure there was no obstruction or infection. He said that she most probably had a lung tumor or cancer. She collapsed while he was treating her and he explained that it was not a seizure, her brain wasn't getting oxygen.
>>They put her to sleep and only charged me the office fee of $22. They insisted that I need to do this.
>>I called the office later and thanked the nurse.
>>My unemployment was planned because I am finishing up a degree program. I will be working again soon. I have other animals and I definitely plan to use this vet for any of my future needs. I put a priority on the compassionate and caring attitude more than the cost.
>>It was extremely hard to let her go and I have been upset and crying for most of the day.
>>I am going to resist the temptation to replace her, she is irreplacible. I have two other cats a tortise shell domestic short hair and a persian. I'll just spend more time with them. The persian is a lot of work because his hair is so long. I think I can tell that they miss Jasmine.

>>Thanks for replying to my post.
