Hello,
I just adopted a shelter cat that I guess to be between 6 and 8 months of age. She is about 5 pounds and has kitty kennel cough (feline upper resperatory illness) and has green sneezes and is coughing. I am going to the vet in about an hour to get her doxicyclin (the shelter is great to let you know exactly what works for the strain of the virus), but I have never had to give a cat meds before. Dogs, yes, but not cats.... She is super affectionate, and I'm afraid of giving her bad experiences in her new home by giving her meds the wrong way.

Any advise?

Jacqueline
