I'm happy to report, that Frank is doing much better today! The combination of the antibiotics, and prednisone, seems to be doing the trick. Both myself and my vet understand that this is not a cure, but at least it will ease the breathing problems until I can get the scope done.

I'm happy to report, that Frank is doing much better today! The combination of the antibiotics, and prednisone, seems to be doing the trick. Both myself and my vet understand that this is not a cure, but at least it will ease the breathing problems until I can get the scope done.

I am planning on getting Frank's nose scoped sometime in the next couple of weeks. Unfortunately, there is no availability for that where I am right now. I am, however, in the middle of a move to Knoxville, TN, where there is a very good vet collage. They DO have the ability to do sinus scopes. As soon as I get there, I will wean Frank off of the Prednisone, and get a scope done. Both the vet and I feel that there is a good probability he has some sort of polyps in the nasal passage.

The antibiotic should take care of any bacterial/fungal infection, but I will be keeping a very close eye on him...trust me!

Thanks very much for all your suggestions. They made me feel much better about what I was doing!
