Hi There,

A small amount of blood in the stool is common in cats and most often isn't an indication of something serious. However, this is an outdoor kitty, and therefore he is at high risk for various parasites, including worms. The next time you have the chance, I would get a stool sample from the kitty and take it into the vet for microscopic examination. I would also take the kitten in for a general exam, if possible.

He isn't really a stray if you are taking care of him, and you want to make sure he is in good health, especially since he is spending time with the other cats. Some parasites spread like crazy among cats.

Regards,
PHKitkat
