Hi There,

Often, when a cat has an "accident", they are trying to tell us something. I hope you were able to make an appointment to take your kitty in.

I agree with MadameAlto. This can be a simple digestive upset, but inflammatory bowel disease is more likely. If your vet feels that this is the problem he or she will either treat with medication and/or a change in diet. Something that is easily digested. A short-term course of steroids may be prescribed to see if it helps.
