The vet thinks he had this virus as a kitten and still has the virus in a dormant state. The virus possibly was reactivated with stress, similar to people with Herpes cold sores etc. His blood work showed an elevate eosinophil count so he was dewormed. He looks good, very active and checking out the house for changes. He did eat a little but will not touch dry food. He is very thin. Does anyone know of a high calorie cat food to gain weight.? I normally give a better quality cat food but have bought some junk food types also hoping he will gain weight. Of course my other 3 love the junk food.
