Fleas love carpeting - any it only takes one riding in on your pant leg from the grass to get them started. And if you're not getting bitten, it could be your blood isn't 'sweet' enough to them - why bother with the human when there is a tasty kitty around? Your vet is the best bet for getting rid of them quickly and completely. And if its a skin condition, kitty will need the vet anyway
