Thank you for your genuine concern about Miloh. He really had deteriorated overnight and could not stand. He also has alot of tremors asleep or awake. His eyes were glazed and he did not respond to his name. The vet said he was in acute renal failure and probably had an embolus. He had no urine output overnight. His creatine level was 22 and his K And phosphate were high. I did notice his respirations were shallower. His temp was 95.
I did know this morning that he would not survive. The vet said they could try IV fluids and try to get his K down but he seemed to be having pain so I choose to have him euthanized. He was so clamped down and dehydrated that they could not get a peripheral vein. I wish I knew what could have been done earlier for him. I did take him to a 24/7 emergency vet on sunday but they thought he was fine. I keep thinking that if blood work was done then...
I am glad Miloh is at rest but I will always miss him. He was the perfect cat. He was only 10 mos old and I was blessed to have him since 5 wks of age.
