Hi,
When a cat stops urinating, it's a medical emergency, even if you think he is acting ok otherwise. I sincerely hope that by now either you know your cat has urinated, or you have taken him to a vet. If he is blocked you will lose him.
Taking a cat's vitals will rarely turn up anything helpful, as far as diagnosis. A cat that has been in kidney failure needs to be monitored very closely. This means having labwork done at least every 3 months, both a blood panel and urinalysis need to be done.
Please update on how your boy is doing.
Regards, PHKitkat
