Posted by: PHWildCat at Tue Oct 26 18:26:44 2004 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by PHWildCat ] Is she nursing the kittens? Are they gaining weight? An experienced Mother has a reason for this behavior. Is the box clean? Does she want them all over there for some reason. Your friend might try a larger box or try moving the whole box and see if that helps or put Mom and the babies in a crate with the door closed and see if she tends them all or shoves 3 away. But she does need to make sure that Mom is feeding all the kits. If they were the same 3 every time, I would say there may be something wrong with the kits but since they are random, she is doing it for some reason.
