I recently adopted a new kitten from the local animal shelter. She was still drinking her mother's milk, but she is already 2 months old. We took her home and she got along fine, playing and running around our apartment. The thing is, she hasn't eaten for these 2 days we've had her. We have tried feeding her kitten formula milk, can food for kittens, and even solid food (Purina brand). She just smells the food then tries to cover it up as she would in a litter box. She has, though, been drinking water. Is there something that could be wrong with her, or can anyone offer any helpful suggestions? Thanks, I greatly appreciate any advice.
