Hi guys,
Well when we were looking for boarding for our kitties we made friends with a woman who runs a cat shelter out of her home. She keeps over 150 cats there! So the other day she sent out an email newsletter and in it she mentioned a big need for foster parents for mom kitties and their litters. So I called and volunteered, thinking that she lived about 45 mins away. So she called today and has a litter she needs a foster home for, but in reality I found out she lives an hour and a half away. I have already offered to care for litters for the shelters and rescue groups in Richmond and I'm sure they will need my help. What should I tell her? I feel bad because she sounded so relieved that someone was volunteering to do this, but driving an hour and half to get kittens and bring them back, not to mention how we would be able to get them treated if they came down sick...it seems like too much for us right now.
I always get myself into these situations! What do you think? I need advice!
