Get them some toys, a nice scratching post or two, some food and some water and a couple litter boxes and any time either of them try to sneak out a door, spray them with a water bottle and say "No". Make sure that you show them the litter boxes. When I bring in a new cat, I always keep them in the bathroom for a while with the box, some food, water, a bed and some toys until I am sure that they have the box figured out. My bathroom is tiled so they automatically use the box. I have 18 cats and they all live inside exclusively and most would not dare to try to go out a door. Most don't even want to.
