>>Can anyone tell me if he might be at all part Russian Blue? I have been researching it, and he looks exactly like the pictures I have seen.

Oh yes, he's definitely part Russian Blue. I'm sure that he's a moggie (mixed) just like most cats are but you can definitely see the Russian Blue in his genetic makeup. My MistyBlueGirl is a moggie too but it's obvious that she's got Russian Blue genes. Out of my 5 cats, my daughter's best friend loved MistyBlue and begged me for her. She absolutely loved her. I finally relented and gave Misty to her since Misty was a unexpected found stray and Candy was such a good friend. Those two are constant companions to this day.

Pam, Boris's mother, has a beautiful Russian Blue mix. He's a gorgeous cat and you can tell that his makeup is mostly all Russian Blue. And he's so intelligent! You need to talk to Pam about Boris and compare him with your sweet little kitty. Noah looks just Boris and Misty. How smart is your cat? Boris is so very intelligent.

Cats are wonderful. My cat, Simba, is not 100% pure Flame Point Himalayan but is close enough for me and I'm so proud of him. He's such a gorgeous cat and is very affectionate. He is a 'found on doorstep cat' and that, to me, is very special. By not having 100% of the Flame Point Himalayan bloodline, he picks up most of the genetic makeup but not all. This is good for me. He is very, very affectionate and loves people.

At the same time, Simba doesn't suffer from 'inbreeding' like so many (especially Midwest) back yard overbreeders do. So to me this is a winning situation. I have a great affectionate cat who everybody loves and who absolutely loves everybody.........without the genetic hangups.

What more could you want?
