We are adopted a kitten (5-6 months old) from the shelter. We have had a cat in the past who passed away, we had him declawed since he stayed in the house. We now have a fence backyard and would not mind our kitten going out back when we do, but we don't want him to climb the fence. I saw that Dr. Foster and Smith has Soft Claws Nail Caps and I was curious if that would work??? Do they stay on, do they hurt the kitten?
It may be that kitty will just have to stay inside all the time, but I hope not!
Declawing is always an option (how old should they be prior to the declaw?)
Thank you for any advice!
