Give them time to adjust. Make sure that you give Cubby plenty of attention. Rub a towel on the kitten and then rub it on Cubby and then back on the kitten to exchange their scent. Cubby is used to being the baby and he wants to make sure that the little one understands that he is the boss. As long as he is not hurting the baby, don't interfer. That will just upset Cubby.
