Hi There,

I was hoping to find a specific place for you to take your kitten, but all I found were low cost spay/neuter clinics. However, I do have some suggestions.

The humane society itself does not offer vaccines in Charlotte, but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask if they know of a low-cost vet. Vaccinations are very important for kittens, and your baby is slightly overdue. You can also call any rescue organizations in your area. Often rescues take their animals to lower-priced vets. Here, in California, low-cost vaccines can be gotten in some pet stores on weekends. This may be another possibility.

I highly recommend two sets of the distemper/upper respiratory vaccine, 3 or 4 weeks apart. Leukemia isn't needed if your kitten is indoors and Rabies may or may not be required in your area.

Take care, and please take your baby in for vaccines as soon as you can.

Regards,
PHKitkat
