Posted by: hells at Fri Nov 17 05:52:15 2006 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by hells ] I have a new kitten, but already have a dog. I followed the advice that sites gave me; getting each pet used to the other pet's scent, and then putting the kitten on a cage so that they can see eachother and my dog is in control. The kitten defends himself, arching his back and hissing. The dog just stands there staring at it and shaking uncontrollably. The kitten also met my neighbour's cat through the glass of the window, and my neighbour's cat reacted the same way as the dog did.
