>>This may very well be the last pic I get of my beautiful girl. I had to take her to the vet yesterday because she was having a hard time pooping again. Although she is 4 weeks old, she should be much bigger. Vet said she's been backed up for some time. They administered fluids, and gave her enemas to clean her out. They WERE successful in getting the HUGE piece of poop out, but the Vet told me that if she doesn't do well within in the next day or so, it's quite possible she has Megacolon (a congenital defect).
>>
>>If this is the case, there is a choice of operating on her (but at her size, 0.4 lbs., she might not survive), or continual enemas at the Vet when she gets backed up (for the rest of her life).
>>

I am so sorry to hear that she is having problems. Let's keep her in our prayers that she starts going on her own. I've seen some websites where they actually recommend canned pumpkin to keep the tummies working, but it may be for older kittens. Let's hope she makes it through.
GLOW

>>I'm so sad and sick over it. She seems so very alive and vital, but she doesn't eat well I've been trying to force-feed her but it's not going too well. Now that I'm crying, I need to post her pic and get out of here.
