Well I adopted a kitten from the local humane society on Tuesday night, when I seen her she was in the cage with her 2 sisters. My girlfriend and I decided to take her into the room and see how she was - perfect little kitten. Liked to play, but when I picked her up she started purring and liked to be held. Which is exactly what we both wanted. During this whole time I maybe heard her meow 1 or 2 times. When she was put in the cage during the adoption process she was right next to a male cat who would not stop meowing, shortly after that she started meowing and wouldn't stop. When we got her home I set up everything for her - she sniffed around and played with the toys I bought, but would not stop meowing. That whole night and into the early morning. Last night was the same thing - I know the changing of enviornments is scary to them, not to mention not having her sisters around anymore, but it seems she has gotten even louder from Tuesday to this morning.

Is this normal? Should I be concerned? Anything to change with that, or do I let nature take it's course?

Thanks for the help in advance.
