You know, I don't remember the name the poster used, however she had a champagne tonk named Kiko and a dog named Kobe. She posted often on the old Tonk boards.
Kiko died today. He had not been eating well so off to the vet he went. The diagnosis was heart failure due to hyperthryroidism. Now, this is a new one for me.
Kiko basically died from the anesthesia used for tests, his poor little heart just gave out.
I've kept in contact with Sue these past years and we met in Seattle a little over a year ago.
My heart is just broken for her, her husband and their dog, Kobe.
We all have to face losing pets, and as a "mommy" to a 17 year old and a 12 year old Tonk, I know I will be facing this sooner rather than later.
