Talk about winter mode... Some friends came over last night to help me decorate the tree. Normally, Emily would be in the middle of everything, schmoozing and supervising her little heart out. Both she and Eddie were curled up in the kitty bed in my office the entire time. (She did open her eyes and look up when they peeked in to say hello.)

Currently, Eddie is upstairs in a sunny window. Emily is sitting on the radiator.

Oh, for the life of a cat!

Just had new vinyl put in the kitchen, which required shutting her in the bedroom for three hours while the seams were treated. When I opened the door and let her out she got the strangest look on her face then looked up at me like "What did you do to MY floor". Then walked very gingerly around the kitchen for several minutes before giving her approval.
