Congratulations!!! You must be so excited...

Your breeder will most likely give you his/her oppinion on when they suggest you do this...mine said between 6-7 months...Bentley and Alastair were done 6 months on the dot and Finster was pushing 8 months because he had an upper respiratory and we wanted that to clear...

Most people just want it taken care of BEFORE they start spraying/marking your home.

But talk to your breeder...mine actually had it listed on her paperwork along with some other helpful suggestions...Good luck with them!!
