I was told no food after midnight Wednesday for the surgery Thursday, and after the surgery I was told if he was alert he could have water only after 8pm and then food today. I did cheat and give him a few pinches of food at about 10:30 last night because I felt so bad for him. First thing this morning, I gave him a can of wet and a bowl of dry, both are empty!
