Last night I was reading and noticed two thumps coming from the back door. I investigated and saw Jake and Riker looking intently out the windows (which are close to the ground). Outside was an outdoor cat giving my boys the evil eye. It jumped up to attack Jake (inside) and solidly hit the glass on the back door! Jake also lept forward and got a solid thump on the head. Riker, less brave, had jumped away.

The thumping didn't seem to bother them as they kept hissing and posing until I shoo-ed the outdoor cat away. hehe... it cracks me up.
