Your babies are precious and I'm so glad they found you.
However, I looked at your breeder's website and I do have to say that what I saw there gives me some concern:
1. They have six different breeds of cats, but they do not appear to have memberships in any of the specific associations concerned with those breeds. 2. Payment options (e.g., credit card info) and lots of photos labeled "Sold" are featured prominently on their home page. Strikes me as a bit overly commercial. 3. Their web site says they ship to anywhere in the U.S. and to selected international destinations. The thought of a tiny, 12-week-old-kitten undergoing that experience is not a pleasant one for me.
I'm sure these folks are wonderful people and clearly you got two wonderful pets from them. But I would sure feel more comfortable getting my cat from a small breeder who is actively involved with the breed, whom I could visit, and who is not in it as a full-time business. I also would personally never allow an animal--any animal--to be shipped. Too many horrer stories associated with what can happen in that cargo compartment. (Now, travelling with a person in the cabin is another story altogether...)
Not a criticism, just an opinion FWIW, which may not be much...
>>I have to recommend the cattery that gave us our two beautiful babies. They are in Atlanta, but I am very sure they will ship humanly. >> >>http://www.kittentanz.com/ >> >>You can watch the kittens on a webcam and between the kids, assistants, dog and cattery owners, our babies came to us after receiving a lot of attention and care. >> >> >> >> >>----- >>Ms KC
