Emily and Eddie have always been shoulder sitters, and they both have no qualms about heaving their furry little bodies upward whenever they want to sit there.

Eddie also has never seemed to care whether he let me know he was about to launch. So, I've gotten used to having him arrive on my shoulder from the front, from the side, and even from the back--or worse, when he misguages the distance, to having him hanging off my back.

Emily has, in the past, always given me fair warning that she's heading my way. Until the other day, that is. I don't know what got into her but it seemed like whereever I went in the house, she was there too, leaping at me from whatever angle was available.

Does anyone else here have this issue with their Tonks? I love them dearly but those little claws do hurt!

Carol, Emily, & Eddie
