Help. I am 8 mos. pregnant with our first child and worried about my Tonk's antisocial/aggressive behavior toward other people, kids and animals. My adorable, healthy, indoor 7-year-old female is amazing with us - totally bonded, affectionate and adorable with my husband and I. But in recent years, she has grown meaner and more crazy around other people who visit our house or who try to pet her when we visit bring her to my mom's house. She growls and hisses sometimes, and never lets anyone new pet her without trying to swat them. I love my cat to death but worry I will have to send her to my mom's house (and she hates my mom) when the baby is born. Has anyone ever had this kind of problem with their Tonk? I have a friend who had to re-home her Tonk when she had her first baby and wonder if jealousy and possessiveness such as this can be overcome.
