Find out what your breeder uses for the type of litter box and litter she uses...(especially if you are getting a queen) it will make the transition easier...once they are settled in the house you can experiment and switch...

most cats are kind of particular about this...and will refuse to use the litter box if they don't like it, and no need upsetting him/her/them and causing unwanted surprises all over your home...

I was lucky...Bentley could care less what type of litter or box he is in just as long as it is "fresh"...my parents not so lucky...their second retired stud protested the first few days...she had to mix the litter types in gradually to get him to switch...

One large box for two cats is also sufficient...
