Actually, it's been unseasonably warm here in Northern Virginia for the past few days. Yesterday there were several hundred robins all over the neighborhood, and some of them are still here today. I just counted about a dozen in my back yard. I'm hoping that means we're in for an early spring.

As for Emily and Eddie, they were too busy napping to notice all the birds. In fact, I don't think they know what a bird is. I put a feeder right outside my office window where they could see it and they have never shown any interest in it at all.
