Posted by: Cailin at Tue Jan 22 23:34:06 2008 [ Report Abuse ] [ Email Message ] [ Show All Posts by Cailin ] I actually had a cat that lived with our other furry family members for about 14 years before she simply decided that she had had enough of them. She decided that she was very content to live in my bedroom with her own food and litter box and no other cats or dogs to bug her. The only distinct difference between your situation and mine is that she lived in my bedroom, so she did get a bit more human contact. Then again, a kitty as old as your new girl would unfortunately have difficult time finding a home if put in a shelter. Having a bedroom to herself is certainly better than going to a shelter! I say you shouldn't feel guilty... you are doing the best with a rough situation. [ Reply To This Message ] [ Subscribe to this Thread ] [ Show Entire Thread ] | ||
