Thanks for the support...

as it turn out the other night when I was petting her I felt a huge bump under her fur...I inspected and it was a puncture wound...that was very very infected...so Bentley got her pretty good...the next morning I found another one...thanks to her thick coat she kept them well hidden...

she is on antibiotics and I explained the situation to the vet who said the same thing...no one really wants to emotionally invest in an older cat and she is better off in a room alone than a cage, but he will let me know if someone comes up...

she is doing well and seems pretty content...but I am definitely going to keep her completely separated for a while, and then take it from there...she's really such a love so I'm happy to have her...
