>>Be very careful that she doesn't become dehydrated.

I know, I am very worried about that. I keep coming in to visit her. She went by herself to the sink & had a little bit of water, a few licks about a half hour ago. And I just got her to make a little tiny lick of water from her cup when I brought it over to her. She has me so worried! There's no way to reason with a cat--please, drink a little water for me? I can't think of what to do. She hasn't eaten a bite either. I have to go to work tomorrow. My DH says she is very traumatized by this experience, plus she still has the heart problem which won't go away, it will take her a while to settle down. He reminded me that when she was a kitten & we took her home, she didn't eat for 5 days. And my DD says that she just needs to get over this very scary situation.

Will keep you apprised.
