What a great picture. Murphy is just precious, too!
I hope that Maizy's gum inflammation is just something passing, but Tonks are prone to chronic gingivitis. Emily has it, and has already had a number of teeth extracted. I keep close tabs on her gums and she goes on meds when the problem flares up. There is a possibility that at some point she may need to have the rest of her teeth extracted, but from everything I have heard and read she will be able to adapt to that just fine if it comes to it. Please keep us posted, and keep those pictures coming!!
>>Oh yes, she looks so much like your beautiful kitty! >> >>I've lived with two purebred Siamese cats who were the loves of my life. I loved their huge personalities and I'm finding Maizy has one as well. >> >>Unfortunately, she has a chronic inflammatory condition and has had uveitis and gum inflammation most likely something she picked up at the shelter. She's being treated and is doing well but she may eventually lose her teeth if the process cannot be stopped. >> >>I added another picture of her with her best friend (adopted at the same time)Murphy. >>
