Emily is 12. I'm not sure how long the lump has been there, but I just discovered it last spring.
I'm not sure what the vet did. I was there with her on an emergency visit because she'd been vomiting almost nonstop and going in and out of the litter box without doing anything. Needless to say, I was scared to death. I discovered the lump while I was putting her in the carrier (which needless to say made me even more upset), so I told them about it while I was at the vet. All I remember is that I was assured it was just fatty tissue. Think they may have taken a sample but wouldn't swear to it.
BTW, they never did figure out what was wrong with her. She was hydrated and given a shot to settle her stomach and, after a few more incidents after we got home, she went to sleep and was fine when she woke up.
>>rigby is almost 4yr. how old is emily? did your vet take a sample to test it to be sure its fatty tissue? my boy is sleeping on my lap licking every spot on my hands right now...
