Sina's name came from a baby book. It did take me something along the lines of four different books to pick the right one though! And I called her Andy for 2 days, before I decided it didn't fit.

Her nickname is slightly more interesting. I often call her "Bunny." When I got my kitten (Charlie, not Sina) I was home from college for the summer and not really supposed to get a kitten. When Sina was little and I was home for spring break my mom was telling me about the flemish giant rabbit (they get like 20 pounds) that my second cousin had just bought. Being me, I said, "I want a giant bunny." I immediately got a lecture- I absolutely could not get a rabbit, not when I still spent summers at home. And further more, this wasn't the same as I 'couldn't' get a kitten but did it anyway- seriously NO BUNNY! So I call Sina my Bunny.
