I logged off to think about my answer while at a dental appt. - now that I read what I wrote - ooh! I have to spend the upcoming weekend around the vile aunt and uncle and I'm NOT happy about it. It's already affecting my attitude I see!

last itme I cried was when I begged my OB to release the baby and me from the hospital early. I hadn't slept in 3 days, the nurses refused to take the baby to the hospital nursery for the night and I overheard a nurse making a catty comment outside my door as she left about what did I expect? There wasn't going to be a nursery nurse when I got home. It took 8 hours to get checked out, 7 during which they tested the "Do Not Steal Me" bands the babies wear around their ankles. One of the blaring klaxons was right outside my door. It rang nonstop. I was beyond the beyonds.

Once home, for the next day and a half I was only awake to nurse and go to the bathroom. Big Scary Man handled the diapers, fielded phone calls and left me alone. I still adore him for it.
