On another note: if you could only keep one modern convenience, which would it be?

Great minds think alike! LOL. I was going to ask that question next... That was acutally the context of the original survey that produced the list of five. They are the top five Americans say they can't live without (voting for only one to make the list)

For me, hand washing clothes would be tough... I would have to say wash machine would be the last to go... Unless we can cheat and drive to a laundromat!
