Definitely agree with you about this one!!! (Of course, the excuse is often that they're taking the kiddos out to adult places to give them the experience. ha!)

But, it wasn't the type thing I thought of as being snobbish....more a pet peeve. Will have to think about snobbish. LOL

However, one of my biggest pet peeves is being behind someone at the grocery store who waits until the casher rings up a total on her order. Then, she decides that she's going to write a check and starts digging in her purse for that, etc. (Doesn't have to be a large order where you think maybe she doesn't have the cash)I want to say, "You knew you were going to write a check before you got here! Why didn't you start after you put your items on the belt!" (It won't be like she was watching the scanner for mistakes....more likely she was staring around aimlessly.) So far, I've not done that but contented myself with sharing rolled-eyes with the person behind me. The other day it took a woman twelve minutes to find her checkbook, write the check, find her ID,and get her bill paid. I'm not kidding!! I timed it. The next checker took care of six customers while this was going on!

(I didn't move lanes because I'd already put my stuff on the counter and a guy was behind me. We shared grimaces.) Grrrrr
