We have 3 cats. One was a barn cat who caught her own meals. How do we have a mouse?!?

====

Good food and sunny spots to nap in... That is the response Pookey gave me when I asked a similar question about the occasional bug that crossed his path and he yawnes and rolls over. Heck, a fly can actually land on him now-a-days and sleep, the safest place in the house... I did put up a Riddix (one of those boxes you plug into your outlets) a few years ago that causes a high frequency sound on the wiring of your house to keep some pests out like mice... You can find similar devices at any WalMart type store... Sam's... The ones that bounce signals off the wals (you'll know by the way the package describes) bothered Pookey. They say a rare cat can hear the high frequency. He did. I would plug it in and he would low crawl thru the house looking for the aliens flying overhead... As soon as I unplugged, all OK. I tried it in a different part of the house while he was asleep and it happened each time. So, I looked around until I found one he was OK with (the Riddex). Stanley didn't budge when the first kind were plugged in...

(The house is all quiet here in Texas. We are moments away from Hurricane Kylagh waking up, my 4 1/2 year old niece. Boundless energy...)
