Comments please - I'm running on a lack of sleep which makes me whiny - which never works in making others see your point! I couldn't find info on the board of directors but their website has a link for comments/concerns which is cc'd to several people. If this passes muster, that's where I'll send it.

Dear Madams,

I'm writing to express my ongoing disappointment. Over the past two years I have donated some twenty boxes of items for your weekly garage sale as well as a few hundred hand sewn catnip toys for the shelter cats. While the garage sale volunteers have been unfailing pleasent, I normally deal with the staff in the front office.

To date, I've only had one staff member say "Thank You" when I've made a donation. Its become a bit of a game for me to see if once again I'll be snubbed. Its not like I'm seeking the hometown hero parade - a casual, off the cuff "thank you" spoken by rote simply because its what people are expected to say would be enough.

While I understand Cat XXXXX has an endowment large enough to make other shelters of similar size weep with envy, I wonder if you group is so wealthy it can forgo basic human kindness?

Sincerely,
Elizabeth Blah,Blah,Blah
