Nothing started at the moment although checked some out the other day (Never purchase; that's what libraries are for!)

A couple I read lately that I enjoyed were: Too Big to Miss by Jaffarian (plus-sized heroine/detective...first of a series that I plan to follow) and Crossfire by PM Carlson.
I'm also a huge fan of Kate Stabenow (mysteries set in Alaska; characters easy to enjoy and get attached to)
and have liked the couple I've read about a female detective in Africa: Women's Number One Detective Agency and Full Cupboard of Life. Think the author is something like Alexander McCall Smith. Then there're the ones set in old England by Sedley.
(Obviously, I read for fun, not deep philosophical stuff.
