Good question. I too have some in a drawer that were gifts, etc., thru the years, but seldom worn (like never). I stick to one watch at a time. Usually a two-toned watch... I like the Spandex bands... When it finally dies, I get a new one...

I have found the cheaper, the better. I get years out of a Timex. But, my Pulsar didn't last nearly as long before totally dying and needed a battery change every year vs. every few years...
